OSHAF, short for Occupational Safety Health Occupational Safety Health Administration and Foundation, had its humble beginnings in 2009, thanks to the vision and expertise of our founder, John Michael, an OSHA Training Specialist. Recognizing the increasing need for accessible, high-quality online education and training in the field of occupational safety and health, John embarked on a journey to bridge this gap.

In 2013, John Michael’s passion for occupational safety and his extensive knowledge in fields like information technology, education, and public administration converged. This synergy led to the establishment of Safety Group, marking a pivotal moment in our journey. Since then, OSHAF has witnessed remarkable growth, continuously evolving to offer a diverse range of occupational safety and health courses tailored to meet the unique needs of our students.

Over the years, OSHAF has remained committed to innovation, constantly expanding our course offerings and training programs. With a current catalog featuring more than 20 courses and an exciting pipeline of new offerings in development, we are dedicated to staying at the forefront of occupational safety and health education.

At OSHAF, we believe in accessibility and affordability. Unlike some other online training providers that charge for access to their course materials, we take a different approach. We offer free access to our occupational safety and health training courses. Our fees are only associated with documenting your training, ensuring that our courses are accessible to everyone without unnecessary financial barriers.

In addition to our online offerings, OSHAF has a global presence through our network of 10 Authorized Training Providers (ATP). These partners provide classroom-based safety and health instruction around the world, extending our commitment to promoting workplace safety on a global scale.

It’s important to note that OSHAF is a private training institution. We are proud to be independent and not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our independence allows us to provide unbiased, expert-driven training tailored to the needs of our students.
